Hi, is it still possible to access to labs from the previous lab provider? I now only get access to the newer one (practice labs). I have some issues with the new labs, which do not show up on the former ones. Also, where can I discuss the quality of the labs and give feedback? I assume you want to know if your customers like this new lab environment or not

hey Russel - What problems were you having?
I find the new lab provider to be brutal! This evening I can't connect to any virtual machines, they take 5 - 10 minutes to power on or reset, and when they do eventually power on , nothing appears in the screen, it just stays gray. Eventually, something that looks like an iconized piece of paper with a frowning face comes on, but thats it, no error message other than "the connection was reset":, no logs - nothing. What a POS!
This is super frustrating. I have a very young family and don;t have a lot of free time, so when I do get time to come down and study it would be nice if the platform worked reliably.
The old vlab provider was miles and miles ahead of this.

Let me add more to this.
Finally after fifteen minutes of fiddling I got all the virtual machines running required for the lab. Now , heres other problems that happen.

The devices disconnect all the time, leaving you with the "This device is not connected" message, Sometimes when you hit connect it reconnects on the first try, but often it doesn't, and takes two or three connect attempts to get back in.
-
you hit the 'connect button' and the screen scrolls all the way to the top or the bottom, taking focus off the vm you're trying to work with. Would be so much easier if you could 'pop out' the windows that the vm's are running in.

Okay last complaint tonight, I promise.
A final problem I have with the new vlabs provider.
I click on a machine that is disconnected, then click the 'connect' button. it goes to 'establishing connection' and I get the to ctrl alt del screen.
At this point, I click on a username - and as soon as I do that, the screen all by itself scrolls halfway down the screen so now I can only see the top of the VM, and disconnects. This happens repeatedly, every time. So then you have to scroll back up, reconnect, and then re-login.

I experience the same problem as Dennis. I dropped this at practice-labs, but no solution yet. They asked if they could connect with my computer to see what's going on, but making an appointment didn't work out. A couple of times I mailed: I'm ready for the remote connection, and then 0,5 day later they responded. So the problems I experienced weren't solved and after I passed my exam, I stopped taking the labs. Also, the labs are too simple: click here, click there, type this/that, tadaaa, you're done.

I also experience this problem. Works sometimes though. 1 out of 5 or so.
