Solved Synology

Hello All;

I have a Synology DS713+. I have owned it for a couple years and when I used DSM 5 I could use the
mobile apps with my iPhone. They recently changed it to DSM 6 and I can no longer use them. I have
looked at all the options and forwarded the ports but it does not work. They have added many new options
but their website is outdated and not much support. Maybe you guys could do a show on how to configure
a Synology. I just renewed my membership and really enjoy watching the shows. I bought a PFsense firewall
and your shows helped me to configure it properly. Thank you

Glad to hear you're enjoying the shows and that they've been helpful to you.

On the Synology DS713+ Configuration suggestion thanks for making the suggestion. The best way to insure that this gets placed on our official show request list to put on the course request list.

1. Log in to the web site, click on COURSE LIBRARY

2. Click on link Course Request immediately below the blue area. This will give you an official way to put in the queue. As members take a look, they can vote it up or vote it down for a show to be made on the topic.

Done. I hope a course gets created. Have you used a Synology product? I really like it but it is
becoming more complex to set up. Any ideas in the mean time on why I cannot use the mobile apps?

Not really that familiar with Synology. but please submit a support ticket about this to our customer support. This will get the question to our developers or even the mobile app develops to find an answer for you. To do so click on CONTACT US and submit the issue. We want to make sure you can get the courses you want (if it's not impossible crossing-fingers).
