So my boss gave me a side project to convert one of our old optiplex 360's into a DC and he wants me to add a raid controller. I need to find a compatible raid controller for the system. Do you know a raid controller that would work

You'll need to see the PCI or PCI-e bus that is in that Optiplex 360. Then you can look for something like Sata controller PCI-e at newegg.com or some site that is similar.
Make sure you pick the one that fits in the computer
one that fits your budget
one that has as many ports as you'd like to add to the RAID
one that supports the RAID setup you'd like to do.That's the best I can do for not knowing the Optiplex 360. I'm hoping it's at least SATA and not a parallel port connection.

You should be able to find out if you have a PCIe slot that you can add a raid controller to, they don't have to be the most expensive but they do need to have instructions in your native language ( you think I joke but I bought one of these and the instructions were all in Japanese and I don't read or speak Japanese).
