I listened to Don say something about the Bonjour/ AirPrint protocol, in that it does not do well outside of its own network (can't go through routers/firewalls, etc). That being said, that made me think about a typical SOHO setup where you have an AirPrint capable printer and a SOHO router that may boast having a 2.4G subnet, and a 5G subnet.
So....how well would the printer do if it is on the 2.4Ghz network, and many other devices (perhaps newer/more modern) are on the 5G network requesting print jobs using this protocol.
Does this work cleanly, or is there a clean path after all that will communicate well?
Thanks,
Derek
