Unsolved Intune and Sync issue with Apps

Hey all,

So I am having a play with Intune again this time I have dug deep right into it and have quite a few thing working.

App deployment for 2 clients. One windows 10 and Windows 8, however on both machines (lab machines in Hyper V) the status is saying pending synch and it's been like that for a good few hours. Two updates I configured to installed, installed without any issues (but when it comes to deploying a program that the "client user" wants on his/her laptop, it hasn't really done much.

What avenues should I look at to see whats causing this issue? Is there anyway I can manualy getting it to install?

Everything else works okay, however this one has left me rather stumped.

Hey Dan,

If I could get a little more information off of you that would help a lot. What type of app is it? What devices are you deploying to?

1- If you are sideloading.

Make sure the app is digitally signed with a trusted signature
Domain-joined devices need the policy setting "AllowAllTrustedApps" enabled
Non Domain-joined devices might need a Microsoft Sideloading License with the AllowAllTrustedApps" policy setting enabled.

2- If a package is not present or if you cannot open a packaged app.

Make sure the package is signed
Make sure the publisher name matches the signing certificate subject
Check the AppxPackagingOM event log for more information
Make sure there are not any package dependencies
Ensure the package CPU architecture is correct (x86, x64, ARM0)

3- Check the logs on the devices themselves.

C:\ProgramFiles\Microsoft\OnlineManagement\Logs folder
C:\ProgramFiles\Microsoft\OnlineManagement\Updates\ReportingEvents.log

First, Sorry i haven't gotten back to you straight away, unfortunetly life (and food) gets in the way.
I think I may have missed the sideloading app , i have one test machine that isn't domain joined.

They are mainly just two small "efficient" pdf readers and "dropbox" programs. I figured i'd keep the program upload rather small. I didn't even think to check the validity of the certificates.

I did have it setup with one system where the 64 bit package was only available for 64bit architecture and then the 32bit (pdf app) for the 32bit architecture,

I didn't even think to check the logs! Don't know what i was thinking. All good though.

I will give these a hurl, hopefully on the weekend post back with a progress.!
