I've just started into the labs, and I've noticed that the three I've done so far seem to strongly prefer the deprecated (as of 5.5) and unsupported (as of 6.5) C# client that doesn't even work with the current version of VMWare. I'm sure I could complete the labs with the web client, but the instructions don't go that way. Are there any plans to update the lab material to reflect this? Or is the C# client still a major component that you have to know for the exam?

I just launched the practice-labs vmware vcp6-dcv. here on the
PLABVC01
the VMWare Management Server. I found the link to theVMWare vSphere WebClient
(to the left of my cursor arrow on the snippet below).I clicked on it, after I launched up all the lab devices and it opened up in the web client, as below

I'm aware of where the web client is, I've been using it alongside the C# client in the labs. I'm referring to the lab guides being written mostly around the C# client and asking if they are going to be updated for the web client.
Mind you, I've not been having trouble finding the same things in the web client, but it would be nice if the lab manual was written around the official client actually made for the version being tested on and not one that no longer works with the latest version.

And, just now, I ran into something that it walked me through in the C# client that I can't figure out how it translates to the web client. This needs to be addressed.
