I looked and could not find any information on this site or the Axelos site. Will completing the series hereand providing a certificate of completion be enough to sit for the iTIL Intermediate exams?

Yes, as long as you not only watch the content but you fulfill the assigned coursework laid out in the episodes as they are presented by the accredited ITIL instructor. This will give you the proper number of contact hours to meet the requirement for sitting the exam.
