@DJ-Moore said in What is "Fountain Drew" for Mike Rodrick or Daniel Lowrie:
I was watching the "Features on Demand" episode of the MCSA Windows Server 2012 - 70-410 course and overheard Daniel Lowrie make the mention of "Fountain Drew" to Mike Rodrick. I was curious as to how this phrase came into existence and what the story was behind it.
This definitely sounds like something that started as an inside joke. Would either gentlemen care to share the story with all of us?!
We're not actually paying a certain soft drink company or being paid by certain soft drink company to mention the name or even show the logo. At times, certain unnamed company might decide that we improperly used said product brand to gain market and thereby owe them some unspecified monetary compensation for unapproved commercial usage of their product by referring to it or displaying it.
So as we create our shows, you may infer from "Fountain Drew" what you wish but that's ** your ** inference not our unapproved usage of the unsaid product on our shows.
What I have posted above is not from an actual attorney but I have watched Matlock, Law & Order and Perry Mason to know that we cannot prevent you from inferring that "Fountain Drew" may be a certain soft drink product that Mike Rodrick finds to be more essential that water.
