Unsolved CCNP Switch missing topic

The CCNP switch course (300-115) is completely missing section 2.2 from the exam topics.
2.2 Describe device security using Cisco IOS AAA with TACACS+ and Radius
2.2.a AAA with TACACS+ and Radius
2.2.b Local privilege authorization fallback

Are there plans to include these topics or did they just get missed?

I just spoke to Don about this. Don covered these particular concepts in ROUTE in detail. The Cisco IOS for these configurations are identical regardless of whether or not we're configuring Routers or Switches.

We are now looking to see if we will be reshooting the the CCNP series this coming year.

The topics were covered in CCNP ROUTE rather than CCNP SWITCH. The Cisco IOS for these configurations are identical regardless of configuring routers or switches.

So instead of duplicating these topics, please check out the ROUTE show.

@Ronnie-Wong thank you for this update. For Switch how deep should I go into the topics since they are covered in the more robust Route?

Remember that on CCNA, the goal is simply how to do you configure these topics. When you move to CCNP, you want to also know "why" as well as how. In other words, take each concept make sure you understand the context why you would configure as well as what you configure.
