I want to learn about SQL/Database. I have no prior experience as a Database Administrator. Which course here do you recommend for me to take first? The SQL 2016:Querying Data with T-SQL or Microsoft SQL 2012?

Maria,
Happy new year !
Great question, it depends on what version of SQL you are going to be working with. If you are going to work in / with 2012, then the T-SQL 2012 course is a good place to start.
If you are going to be working with / on 2016, then start with the 2016 querying data course.

Hi Maria,
Worth mentioning that if you are planning to certify in SQL, the MCSA for SQL 2012 requires 3 exams whereas the MCSA for SQL 2016 only requires two exams.
The Querying SQL 2012 and querying SQL 2016 are similar exams.
Good Luck

I have a very simliar question regarding where to start as a Database Administrator?
- MTA-Database Fundamentals
- MS Access Core Fundamentals 2016 ?
- CompTIA Server+
- MCSA-SQL Server 2016 ?
This is my plan in how to achieve, just not sure if this is realistic because of the time I have (deadline June 30th 2020) MCSA Certification expiring very soon
