I installed a CentOS 7 and Mint with Cinnamon server to practice on for my Linux+ I put the latest versions of both OS. Seems like some of the commands no longer work that are in the book. I have been finding the commands that are different on both flavors and keeping good notes. I hope it doesn't confuse me for the exam.

I'm not familiar with this study guide book. You may have to check the errata page for that particular study guide and see if they posted any additional guidance.
