@colin-rushton,
Everyone is different depending on background and absorption rate of the material. So some topics will not take you any time because they already make sense to you...so you may choose to watch more and then use the labs to just review a content block.
But on topics, less familiar, you may choose to watch, study, research, and then learn with the labs...
I recommend, no more than an 1.5 hrs a session (approx 3 episodes) and a break...then 1.5 hrs, break and again 1.5 hrs and break. If you were trying to do as much as you can do in a single day. This will help you gain knowledge, verify knowledge. Whether you take each 1.5 hr and you do just watch 3 episodes or you watch 1 or 2 and do a lab, the entire time is then training time with the CompTIA Security+ testable material and keep a pace up for learning.
The key is to be consistent in your training.
Others may have a better way of doing it, maybe they will chime in.
Cordially,
