Microsoft 365 Fundamentals Exam MS-900
Hi ITPro:
Why is it that Microsoft comes out with Many IT Certification Exams, but when it comes to prepare for it there isn't many courses on the Subject or Content that your studying for? Will ITPro.TV come up with some Content or Videos on this matter?

Like all big corporations, it's not a monolithic unit. It is many different companies within a corporation. The certification and educational branch is made of learning professionals, educational consultants, product experts etc. and may of these include partners with 3rd parties too.
The Microsoft Learning publish the Skills Needed (exam objectives) at a particular date. They make official curricula for those wishing to do the Microsoft Official Courses. As far as non-official (grayware) courses, we have to get the objectives and begin to understand what they are asking, study and take the exam then write or present the course to the public. This can mean weeks or months writing, editing and then publishing before any courseware is presented to the consumer.
We will be producing shows that will be covering the MSXXX series, this will replace the current offering of the Office 365 content that I recorded.

Thanks for the reply and info on this matter, I am in the process of looking into the MD-100 Windows 10 Certification, since the MS 70-698 and 70-697 is ending very soon march 31 2019 and april 30th 2019. I just found that MS-900 interesting.

As I revisited this forum, it got me thinking, again does this Exam (MS-900: Microsoft 365 Fundamentals) get me anything in terms of certification i.e. MCP or MCSA Level?)

Hi Adam:
thank you for replying to my question, but the Microsoft 365 Certified Fundamentals is it something equivalent to the MTA type certificate or certification, the MTA Microsoft Technology Associate, is this a Certificate or a professional type certification, to me that the MTA Certificate or Certification sounds like or similar to the CompTIA IT Fundamentals Certificate, either way, I will be pursuing these certs in the future

I can't seem to find a lot of study material or videos on the MS-900 Series, unless this is new and maybe other IT Training Providers such as ITPro.TV or CBT Nuggets.com would come up with some type of content in regards to the MS-900

I hope all is well. As part of the general reorganization/reimagining of the Microsoft certifications that Microsoft Learning has undertaken over the last year, there is a move towards 3 broad new categories of certifications, as noted here:

Fundamental - Ideal for individuals just starting in technology or thinking about a career change.
Associate - Two years of comprehensive working experience.
Expert - Two to five years of deep technical experience.
The MTA certification is still available as of now, and basically lines up with the Fundamentals level.
Since all of the three new levels Microsoft has announced are new, there is not much study material available in general for any of them right now.
STAY TUNED THOUGH, as we are pushing hard to produce new content for many of those certifications over the next months.

@Brendan-Duncan Yes - it's in the queue behind AZ 900 which will start next week after Mike and Cherokee get back from Microsoft Ignite in Orlando.
