Hello,

Hi James,
The course content is the same for CAPM and PMP. The exam that you take is dependent on the project management experience that you have. Both exams will test you on the full breadth of the course content.
The PMP exam is scheduled to change in December 2019, and there is a quick byte on our youtube channel outlining the changes. We haven't been told whether these changes extend to the CAPM exam.
Thanks
Jo
@Jo-Peacock, per what is outlined on the PMI website now, their requirements for CAPM are different from what they used to be. As far as I can tell, they are no longer hours-based at all. While it used to be a secondary degree with 1500 hours of experience or 23 hours project management education, now it is just the secondary degree and the 23 hours of education. With that, I am wondering if the Project Management Professional 6 (2018) course satisfies the 23 hour educational requierment?

Did you ever get a response here? Looking to get my CAPM Just need to know if this will fulfill the 23 hours requirement as its the only one I'm missing in order to submit my application
Hi Guys,
The PMP / CAPM exam was changed at the end of 2019. I covered the basics in this quickbyte: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DfiwE4bEHQ0&t=5s
There has also been a recent development in the announcement of the PMBoK version 7 which will be available later this year. We don't know yet whether the PMP / CAPM exams and requirements will change again following the release of the new PMBoK.
All of our courses will count towards ongoing PDUs, although we can't say for certain that our course will count towards your CAPM requirement. The PMI have allowed some candidates to sit exams following our course, but not all as our current PMP course based on PMBoK6 is not fully accredited by the PMI.
There is a lot of apparent uncertainty surrounding the future of the PMP / CAPM qualifications right now. We are planning on recording and accrediting a new PMP / CAPM course following the release of PMBoK 7, but dates are not yet know.
Thanks very much
Jo
