I just passed the 1001 Exam. I have not finished all of the video topics nor all of the practicelabs. But so far, the video topics have not been succinct.
A lot of wasted time with the bad entertainment part of edutainment and a lot of wasted time with introductions and closings. Then the training provided is not in the same arena as far as scope is concerned, based on the test I passed.
Mike Myers A+ training book is accurate and to the point of preparing the trainee for the exam while remaining 1500 pages long and not venturing out of scope. ITPROTV training is far too in depth about many things, far too many details that can either create confusion or delay when you may be ready to take the exam.
I am not saying this to get attention for complaining. I also know COMPTIA does not want ITPROTV to provide a test dump. But there is a happy medium that allows the trainee to efficiently prepare for the exam/the goal and I think that ITPROTV training is outside of that. It's too late for me, I will test out my 1002 soon. But I hope that ITPROTV will consider the Comptia A+ bibliography and get the scope correct in future offerings.

Is ITPROTV COMPTIA A+ training hitting the mark.

the number one reason why i joined ITPROTV was the length of the A+ course. what you are looking for probably is material to pass the test, straight to the point with no additional unnecessary details, however what im looking for is exactly what they offered: a deep and detailed introduction to the world of IT, through the A+ course. they are giving you all the details you need to establish a very good and solid foundation to start building a career in IT. its not just about what you will be tested on, but also what you will need to know in order to start working in this filed...
i understand that maybe can create a lighter version in addition to the current one just like they did with the network+ course. but hey again, im here because of the training depth they provide! it is what i want: knowledge... not answers to exam questions. -
@Brian-Woods-0 We value your feedback and will take all information into consideration. We appreciate you taking the time to post into the forums. If you would like, you can submit a request to support@itpro.tv.

@EA89
No one was looking for "not answers to exam questions". I am glad that you enjoy the course.
I went back and looked at the title and seem to still want to believe that the scope of the course should be "CompTIA A+ Core 2019 (220-1001/220-1002) " I hope you were not judging that I wanted the answers to the questions. Nope, I just want the material to remain within the scope of the title.Certainly, ITPROTV can create a course that provides that depth for technicians that you desire. But I would think that would have a different title and thus would represent a different scope.
"How to be a IT Service Technician?" perhaps. Then there would be no reason to imply that my feedback was about taking an easy way to cheat the purpose of the exam. I passed my exam because I have the knowledge,
