Hello Mr Wong! I ran across this question in our new CCNA practice exam, but when using the NYCORE1 switch from practice labs the command you specified as the correct answer doesn't seem to exist.. Outdated IOS maybe or did I spot a bug?
Ps.. Gi interfaces in diagram and Fa interfaces in running config & show int trunk output.
It's possibly a typo in the answer marking. I might have not noticed that the answer was marked wrongly.
if it's negotiating trunking, it is because it is by default doing it and doesn't require a hardset of auto, which is not available. It should require that SW3 is set to with answer A.

You must examine the configuration output given of SW2.
If you choose B, given the output of SW2...what should be the status of SW2 trunking interfaces?
Why so mysterious Ronnie? Could you explain to me why the syntax from the running device doesn't give you the ability to type the command "switchport mode auto"? The catalyst I was testing these commands on is from the 2960 line, so it doesn't accept the switchport trunk encap command. Doesn't support ISL.
Does this behavior change if you are on a switch that supports ISL and accepts the switchport trunk encap command?

So the correct answer is B as indicated by the answer key you provided. It's super confusing though because "B" doesn't appear to even be a valid command. If the question is trying to point out that SW2 is set to "switchport mode dynamic auto", okay I get it. So the sw3 interfaces connected to the auto trunk ports would have to be set to "on" or "desirable" in order for SW2 to trunk.
If that is correct, the question is asked in an extremely confusing way. And the "correct" answer makes no sense.
