I see videos performing backups on the non-system databases. Is there any deviation in backing up the Master, Msdb, Model, Tempdb, ReportServer, etc databases?
For example, the following script:

This script excludes the System SQL Server databases. I understand that changes aren't done often, but I would think you want a good copy of each.
... I wouldn't use cursors, but this give a good explanation of my question.
Why would I want to filter these out in this script (WHERE name NOT IN ('master','model','msdb','tempdb'))?
