hi i have question about that related to 70-740 course from trainer cherokee boose. when a disk fail from storage pool for any reason first we remove fail disk from storage pool and add new disk to or not add new disk then remove fail disk i'm confuse about it tanks
Windows storage space
In regards to the removal of the disk in a storage pool you would remove the failed disk then replace with a new disk.. You can use the Remove-PhysicalDisk cmdlet. You can then run Get-PhysicalDisk and check the status to verify that it says "Retired" as the status. I will include a link of the cmdlet to help provide additional info you may find interesting.
