Hi I've been watching the CySA+ course and now I'm doing some practice questions from sybex practice book section 2 and been scoring 74% is this okay or should I rewatch the section
Cysa+ practise questions
I would say rewatch because my experience is that an exam is harder than a book and at least I am always a bit nervous. To pass the exam you need 750 points that should be about 83%.
90% is my goal for test exams.
Sounds like you're progressing nicely through the CySA+ material.
At this point, I would say to keep studying. 74% on the practice exams means that you're understanding a lot of the material, but for the exam you want to be comfortable with most, if not all of the material.
Use your practice exam results as a guide to show you where you need to focus your studies on. Once you know what you're getting wrong you can rewatch those episodes and reread any other study material you have. Once you're getting consistent 90% and above on the practice exams, then start thinking about sitting the exam.
Hope that helps. Cheers.
Thanks for all the advice, I've been reading and re-watching the topics on which ive been scoring lower than i would like, I'm feeling much more confident now
@daniel-lowrie87 I've really been enjoying your teaching style on the CySA+ thanks for all the effort you have put into the course
