Hi, I would like to know if there is a course in ITPROTV website related to the client authentication on a switch via radius server.
If so can you please link the url?
Thank you for your attention
Great day!

Switch Authentication Radius

In Networking and Windows Server 2016 (70-741) we cover configuring a Windows Server as a RADIUS server. There are two episodes that deal with this, Implement Network Policy Server, Part 1 and Part 2.
https://app.itpro.tv/course-library/networkingwindows-server-2016-70741/implement-network-policy-server1/
https://app.itpro.tv/course-library/networkingwindows-server-2016-70741/implement-network-policy-server2/This will help configure the server side, if you are using Windows. The switch config might be in the CISCO courses, I'll have to check with @Ronnie-Wong.

@Mike-Rodrick Thank you Mike, I will wait for Ronnie for the cisco side.

May I ask what are you trying to accomplish? Are you trying to offload 802.1x on switch to RADIUS?

Hello Ronnie, I would like to authenticate my pcs on the switch interfaces to allow them specific traffic. Hope I wrote it correctly

Using 802.1x you can prevent unauthorized devices from gaining access through a switch to your network. This requires you to setup 802.1x Port-Based Authentication and also a RADIUS server. We have covered this in our Cisco CCNA Security on Port-based Authentication show.
You may be able to use ACLs --Access Control Lists to aid in limiting what traffic is allowed to that port as well. But if you're looking at preventing Applications. You may have to consider some form of policy based networking that may not be centered on a switch configuration.

Thank you Ronnie, I'll have a look and get back to you! Really appreciate your support guys, have a great day

Hey Ronnie. So if I understood well, the supplicant in my case will be the pcs, authenticator the switch and the authentication server the Radius server. Correct?
Thank you -
@Francesco-Filippi,
Yes! that's correct.Cordially,
