Course Videos/Materials & Lab Modules

Good evening! I just signed up for complete access to ITPRO.tv in order to study for the SY0-501 CompTIA Security+ exam.

However, I'm noticing something right away that seems to be missing from the UI. Is there a resource that maps the 24 lab modules to the 61 course videos contained within the course? Or, does the dialog between the presenters indicate to the student when labs should be taken?

I am a recent Subscriber and I have noticed that currently there is not a non-accelerated standalone version of the CompTIA A+ 220-1001 or 220-1002 Cert video series.? also I would like to request would you speak with Don and ask Him to consider Adding courses for The LPIC-1 103 & 104 And LPIC 2 201 & 202 Certs

Thank you for the reply. I'm still not seeing any material that correlates the videos to the labs (again, the CompTIA Security+ (SY0-501) course).

I'm asking if there is a quick reference that indicates to the student when they should be completing any of the numbered (25) labs in the course, based on the completion of the 61 videos in the course.

For example, Labs 5 through 11 pertain to Domain 2 (Technologies & Tools), Labs 12-15 pertain to Domain 3 (Architecture & Design), etc.

It would help if the 25 labs are organized by domain, so that the student can better gauge when to even start the labs.

I'm not sure there is anything like that. Our shows are created by our SMEs in house based on the exam objectives, while our Lab vendor creates their labs based on the exam objectives. Though they come from the same objectives, they do not necessarily give us the assignation of the order to align with how we covered the course. They partner with many companies provide lab services. We use them because we believe they provide us with the best user experience.

Usually, if there is a lab that fits right in line with the lab, we will mentioning during the episode and even which lab it is that does so.
