I'm currently working on all the labs for CompTIA IT Fundamentals+ (FC0-U61) . Although I've worked with Windows for MANY years (Windows 3.0 was my first experience), there are several aspects of "fundamentals" I've not (or have had little) experience with e.g. Linux, MacOs, databases etc. Working with the labs I've come across 2 problems, in lab 6, a connectivity issue with PLABWIN10 and in lab 18 an issue with the command codes. I've been advised that both issues have been escalated to tier two support. Since I am nearly done with all the labs in that course (and am a completionist lol), when can I expect resolution?

Let me make sure I understand which lab you're on. When you say
lab 6
you mean the one labeled asConfigure Network-based Anti-Malware
.I've just followed the lab through the point where
- you must turn on the
PLABWIN10.
- you have to enable file and printer sharing on it.
- you must navigate to
PLABDC01
and map a network drive?
Is step 3 (above) where you're noticing a connectivity issue?
If so, as of now it is connected and working, I just accomplished the next steps in the lab so hopefully that has been solved for you now.
lab 18 an issue with the command codes.
Is this the lab labeled as
Data Storage
?
Can you point to me a specific step that you're not seeing the right commands so I can try them and see if the issue has been solved for you?Cordially,

@Ronnie-Wong If you attempt CompTIA Fundementals+ , Configure Network-based Anti-Malware through until Exercise 3, Step 1 you will find that PLABWIN10 crashes (on the ITproTV end) and attempts to reconnect x20.

Exercise 2 - Creating Constraints
Step 7
as seen in my screenshot I have duplicated Figure 2.6 and have double checked and restarted to receive the same error Msg each time. Not sure what I did wrong.
Note: Cleared cookies and cache prior to starting lab
I'd be willing to share the PDF documents I've given to support with you, unfortunately, I do not have (or cannot find) an email address for you

I'm trying to verify if the issue has been resolved. I ran through the first lab and even the step you said, and there was no connectivity issue that experienced....so it could be they have solved it.
But you've added some information here which was not previously which is you say
Step 1 you will find that PLABWIN10 crashes (on the ITproTV end) and attempts to reconnect x20.
I will try again.
I will try the second lab you now listed and with step 7 to see if the error has been resolved.

Insert int dbo.Faculty ..... instead of Insert INTO lol -
Ronnie, I wish to thank you for your help with resolving these two lab issues. The misspelling in the one lol and it seems as we discussed via email that for whatever reason that in the lab Configure Network-based Anti-malware
(6) Mozilla has functionality issues with the last step. Using Google Chrome and disabling pop-up blockers did the trick and I was able to complete the lab!GREAT WORK!! Looking forward to seeing you in the next courses!
