I'm interested in learning about the developer job role, but when I'm actually in that section it looks like the content is laid out in alphabetical order. I would think that there would be an order to the content that builds upon each other, but that doesn't seem to be the case here. Would anyone recommend where to start within this job role?

Developer Job Role - Order of Content

My apologies that this one has slipped through the cracks and no one has answered and hope that you're well.
The issue I believe you will find is that development teams will require different things. We may be able to help some beginning but it really depends on that particular job role you're looking to fufill to tell you where to begin for that. And that is the truth.
For example, are you talking about front-end web dev or back-end dev just as an example. You might find that each, though development related would have very different starting points.
So I would recommend you learn some type of language to introduce you to any form of development language. For instance, though I'm not so much focused on app dev but for my purpose, I'm a networking guy who needs to understand some python, work with dev tools like ansible and git all for the purpose of learning network programmability. But my beginning point will be learning the fundamentals of Python and how to work with it.
So you may want to begin with a something like Python if you're like me. total newbie to help understand. It's relatively easy and then find something else that really is more job role focused.
I hope this helps.
