Hello. I am stuck. This is my third time going through the videos for MD-101. I have an account to work with that has a Microsoft 365 E5 license so have all the features turned on for Azure and intune. I cannot follow along with the videos. All the options they show are not there. Most I can follow along. The one I am currently working on is creating an Upgrade Readiness analytics space. When I go to create a resource and put in upgrade readiness no results come up. I have found many instances where I cannot follow along. Many times I can find the area somewhere else. Is there anyone that can direct me to where I can find the upgrade readiness in the current state of Azure. Google has not been my friend on this.

Do you have your DNS domain space setup in 365?

Sorry for the confusion Jim. Azure keeps us on our toes.
Upgrade Readiness was part of Windows Analytics. Windows Analytics was retired on Jan 31st, 2020, and replaced with Desktop Analytics.
Desktop Analytics was moved to the Microsoft Endpoint Manager admin center.
Here is a link to the current documentation for Device Analytics.

@Ronnie-Wong Yes. My Office setup is complete. I have been using Office 365 tenant for Over a year. My domain Jimscom is hosted there. I upgraded one of my licenses to Microsoft 365 E5 so have a premium2 account. Now I have access to Intune as well as Azure AD.

@Mike-Rodrick Thanks. I figured it was something like this. The bad results searching for azure and upgrade readiness makes more sense as that is not where it is. I will check out the doc you sent.

@Mike-Rodrick Do you know if they have changed the test to reflect moving to Desktop Analytics?
-
They updated the objectives to reflect the name change. It used to read "Configure a Windows Analytics environment", it now reads "Configure a Desktop Analytics environment"
The issue I foresee is configuring Desktop Analytics requires Configuration Manager, which isn't easy to set up. I would suggest focusing on the documentation, understanding what the requirements are, what the capabilities are, etc.
While all topics are important when preparing for the exam, sometimes you have to weigh the effort vs the benefits, if that makes sense. This seems to me to be one where setting up a lab environment might not be worth the two or three questions you might get on the exam. Just my opinion.
That being said, I am going to look into setting up an environment here that I can use to demo with. I will try to shoot some videos to supplement the current MD-101 content, until we can update the course. We are currently shooting MS-500 and updating AZ-104, so I'm not sure when I can squeeze it in.
In the mean time, use the link I posted earlier, and also on that page, expand the concepts section, and read over those documents as well.
If you have any specific questions, don't hesitate to reach out.
