I think I also read that somewhere online or a Youtube video with the Re-Certification, I think its for those who have a certification, and can recertify within the 6 month period to maintain their certification, that's what I got of it.
It's true!!
You can renew certain certifications by passing a renewal assessment on Microsoft Learn.
Even better, they are free!!
But wait, there's more! You can take them online, through Microsoft Learn. No need to schedule an exam with Pearson VUE!!
One side effect, most certifications will have their validity period reduced from two years to one year. This is because the technology changes so fast.
All in all, I think it's a great improvement to the certification process.
