Practice Tests not very relevant?

So I recently followed the AZ-900 course and did (and passed) the exam. And I noticed something:

The content on the AZ-900 course is relevant, up-to-date and actually useful for the official exam. The questions I got during my exam were directly relevant to content on the ITProTV show. Or, rather, the course was relevant to the exam.

And don't get me wrong, that's good! However...

Comparing the actual exam to the practice test of AZ-900, it would seem that there is a mismatch between questions asked on the official exam and on the practice test. It's as if the practice test is not up-to-date or has any relevant questions about the specific topic. Some of the practice questions asked on the AZ-900 practice test are about material that wasn't present in the AZ-900 course.

I am seeing the same thing now with the AZ-500 course. Some, if not most, of the practice test questions do not relate at all to the content of the course/show here on ITProTV. Not security-related at all, more AZ-900 or AZ-104 type stuff.

There seems to be a mismatch between practice exams and the questions. As if all questions relating to Azure in any way shape or form have been dumped into a big Azure-question-pool and all the AZ-*** tests just pick 40 questions at random from this Azure-question-pool, regardless of their applicability to the specific exam.

Does anyone have the same experience or am I just unlucky with the practice tests?

I found that the CompTIA practice tests were completely useless. The exams cover material not in any book. It makes it very hard to study for them. If my B.EE used their method, you wouldn't have any electrical engineers. COMPTia is more worried about paper tigers than getting people certified.

Well, yes. That. The practice tests don't seem to match up with the content of the courses and the actual exams. Is this a known issue to ITProTV?

ITPro.TV provides 3rd party practice exams. They don't write them. They provide the industry standard exams. The bigger problem is that they don't write the books to match the material on the exam.

@Eric-d We've had the same feedback on this practice test from other members as well. We shared it with Cybervista, our practice exam partner, and this was their response.

Our content team has put it on their agenda to address and make revisions as necessary. We don't have the date that the update will be released, but they are looking into it and should have it out soon.

Thanks for the information, but until then I will have to downgrade my account because I am basically paying for content that is not applicable for the courses given.

@Eric-d for clarification, this comment from Cybervista related only to the AZ 900 course.

My comment was relating to both AZ-900 and AZ-500.

For example: I got a question on my practice test asking what steps I needed to perform to reset the keys for the SAS feature in Azure. Now the 'correct' answer, according to the Vista guys was that I needed to 'refresh' the keys. The wrong answer was 'regenerate'.

However...

Taking a look at the actual Azure interface, it seems that the correct answer should have been to 'regenerate' the keys as that is the terminology used by Azure itself.

Then there were a bunch of questions that were more related to the AZ-104 material, not focusing on security at all. Rather, focused on the administrative part of Azure. And yes I realize it's a part of AZ-500, but AZ-500, as the ITProTV course material shows, is focused on the securing of the resources available.

It's examples like these that make the Premium subscription at ITProTV completely and utterly useless. Therefore, I am downgrading and I'd even want to go as far to ask for my money back because the service delivered is useless. At least for the Microsoft AZ exams, it seems...

And yet another example of useless exams. Apparently the problems I described aren't isolated to Microsoft exams but CompTIA as well.
