Any update on when the episodes for this are scheduled to be filmed ?

Am holding off gaining the Win 7 MCSA until some episodes appear....... Considering doing MCSA for Windows 8 instead but just hesitant as we may jump from our Win 7's to Win 10 when its released and scrap our Win 8's ...... Dilemna

We were just discussing this morning the best way to handle this show. From our understanding, the certification track may be retiring once Windows 10 is released to market. This is not because Windows7 will not be around but usually Microsoft is supports only 2 OS back (so in the future it will be Windows 10 and the 8s) leaving Windows 7 out. Since Windows10 is schedule for a summer release, we're hesitant about producing a certification show for Windows7.

So we're talking about doing the windows7 shows but not for the certification but as a skills show as we believe Windows7 will be in the workplace for a few more years. The skills are good to have. So we may not be producing the 70-685 and 70-686 shows per se but covering the content more along the line of skills an IT desktop professional and desktop administrator would need. I believe the show calendar may be updated already if not; it will be soon.

Absolutely fair comment - and yes Microsoft will probably drop the certification way before Windows 7 runs its useful life course.

As far as I see the one that they are dropping is Windows 8.1 (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/learning/retired-certification-exams.aspx)

I will add the request to official request list but see the above post where I post about our hesitancy in producing the MCSA for Windows 7, Desktop Administrator. As with all production at ITProTV, it's about the demand, so the higher the demand the more likely it will get scheduled!
