I'm wondering if keeping CD, dvd and other loose disk and tapes would be good in cool storage such as a refrigerator where you keep the temp at a warm setting? I'm not thinking we need it be too cold but have a cool enough place to help preserve the media.

@Stephen-Smith another great question, if you are in Florida, during August then yes!!!!lol However, manufacturers will indicate the storage temperature on the media's packaging (55-75 degrees Fahrenheit/13 to 24 degrees Celsius). I look forward to additional questions and keep studying.
