CompTIA Linux+
Securing Data with Encryption
Exercise 1 - Securing Data with Encryption
TOPIC 1 is Basic SSH Confguration.
But you do not configure anything. You list the contents of the /etc/ssh directory and you "cat" the sshd_config and ssh_config files. No changes, modifications or configuration is done.
I have used ITPRO TV and practicelabs for COMPTIA A+, COMPTIA NETWORK+, COMPTIA SECURITY+, and COMPTIA LInux+. In all of these course, Practicelabs very thoroughly teaches you how to cat a file, but do not fulfill the objectives in any meaningful way. I have given Practicelabs feedback and it is a real crappy process. If I leave ITPROTV, it will be because of the terrible effort that PractriceLabs puts into it's shoddy product.

Practice Labs CONSISTENTLY under-delivers on Promised Objective Covered

I gave up on CompTIA exams. I called them. You can't read a book and learn enough to take an exam. I told them I hold a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering. My professors said this book is for class. This one could have test problems from it. These three are reference. You bought all 5. The material was in one of those books. With CompTIA you can't find their test questions even on Google to get answers.
ITPro.tv is great for their videos. I don't buy their tests and practice labs. I don't do CompTIA.

You are spot on! Practice Labs is a mess. It is readily observable that they do not care about technical editing or running spell check on their documentation, consistently lead you down dead-end activities with no substantial explanation or many times no explanation for real-world use. Plenty of technical issues and unsatisfactory support from their service. I regret that I will not be renewing the Kaplan tests and Practice Labs next renewal cycle.
