I know it is recommended to keep study guides during prep but is the content provided by ITPROTV sufficient enough to pass the exam? I have spent a lot of time watching the interesting videos and making notes and am not in a mood to sit and cram an entire study guide? Is my concern justified? How can I make my preparation extensive but at the same time not too boring? Any resources from where I can get some free practice questions? Thank You in advance!

@Atharva-Bet,
Thank you for taking the time to ask such a great question here. This is a question that comes up a lot with our members. It can be hard to tell just how much a person needs to study for the Network+ exam for a few reasons that I will mention below.1 - How comfortable is the exam candidate with basic computing technology, virtualization, security, cloud and certainly more.
2 - If the exam candidate is not familiar with these concepts, then how much studying has to be done to "backfill" these concepts that are assumed knowledge. For instance, CompTIA's recommendation is,Referenced here:
https://www.comptia.org/certifications/networkKeep in mind that this will be knowledge you are expected to have prior to tackling the CompTIA Network+ exam and depending on the level of foundational knowledge that a candidate brings going into Network+, will gauge how much studying is needed.
I agree that a study guide can be cumbersome, but the intent is to help the candidate pass the exam. So, to coin a phrase that one of the other Edutainers use, this is a "one size fits one" solution. We do have practice exams available to our members and when used the right way, greatly increase the members chance of success on the exam.
I would recommend taking the exam objectives that can be found at the link above, and use them like a checklist to gauge where you are at in your training, study levels and base knowledge. Study the areas you feel less confident in so you can increase your base knowledge.
Thank you for watching and if you come across any concepts that you are having trouble with and ask them here. I hope this helps and look forward to hearing from you!
