I’ve now taken 3 practice exams for core 2 in the Practice Exam section on the ITProTV site.
And I’m finding that there are a handful of terms and technologies in the practice exams that are not in the objectives and not covered in the full A+ course. Has anyone else noticed this? I take my exam tomorrow so by the time anyone reads this it’ll probably be irrelevant. But it’s frustrating because it forces me to look up these things such as (MUI) and (VSS) and put more time into figuring out what they are when they likely won’t when be on the test. Just wondering if I’m alone In this.

Non exam objectives in A+ Practice Exams

@Ryan-Poelker great question sir, when it comes to the practice exams, they are intended to make you study more and where the practice exam vendors do not give actual exam questions or have access to exam questions, they will add a lot of topics to help you round out your studies. What is most important is that you understand the concepts that those questions are asking about and yes it can be frustrating at times after you have put so much time and effort into studying, to feel that somewhere you fell short. While I do not know your study habits, the simple fact that this is concerning to you shows that you are diligently studying. Keep up the great work and remember to use the practice exams to assess your base knowledge. Good luck tomorrow!
