- My question is how - what would be a recommended strategy to pursue seeing coding skills are in high demand. I see lots of jobs asking for knowledge and/or experience with Powershell, Scripting, Python and so on. What should be my best game plan at this point to get some solid in demand coding skills to add to my marketable value or career options making around $100k+ ?
Like all things in a skilled career, it will require knowledge and working time. Many of the coding based jobs do not necessarily require any formal education but the opportunities you're looking for is not a straight path.
So there is no magical string of languages that leads to 100K/yr career. There are various skills besides coding that may help.
So for examples, the engineering team here at ITProTV do have the coding skills of python and others languages as well. But they also know things like app dev, working with version control, "infrastructure as code", working in a SCRUM environment. Front End/Back End Development and team development etc. So I wish I could say heres 6 courses but this will be based on, as you called it market conditions.
So you may have to reachout beyond just the coding into other skills too. This will take time.
