Doubt in Link Aggregation.

Hello,
First of all, What is the difference between NIC Teaming & Port/Link Aggregation?

Secondly, If Port/Link Aggregation & NIC Teaming are different, I did very well get the purpose behind NIC Teaming which happens to be Increasing Throughput & Fault Tolerance (Redundancy) but I couldn't particularly understand the purpose behind doing Port/Link Aggregation. So, Can anyone explain that?

Thirdly, I got confused when I read something on a forum online. Let me attach the picture here:

Hey @Atharva-Bet, good question - These are umbrella terms that are sometimes used synonymous. I think of it this was NIC teaming is the server(computer side), link aggregation is on the switch side to support NIC teaming. However there are standardized terms for the technology look into Link Aggregation Control Protocol(LACP) and 802.3ad. The answer to the last one seems to be based on the fact that the Server B cannot perform up to the 10GB speed and the older standard is causing the link to be throttled to the Gigabit Ethernet standard (Not the 10G Ethernet standard)

I had one doubt.
Let me attach a picture here.

So when you were teaching this,
You said - "But if you're gonna be talking about things like port aggregation, NIC teaming if you will, again link aggregation, know the 802.3."

So when you say know the 802.3ad, by what extent do you expect us to know about that particular standard? Like do you want us to go Google it out and research and take some extra information about it or you're just saying that okay, just know what 802.3ad is by definition, or is it something else? I'm also asking this in general as well. Because, a lot of times in videos you say know this know that, so like I just wanted to know what exactly do you expect us to do.
I'm preparing for Network+ right now so yeah, please say according to that.

@Atharva-Bet Another great question, and I can see how the term "know this" can be vague. I will try to be more clear moving forward.

Being able to "identify" the 802.3ad standard, given a scenario is important.
Being able to "explain" the purpose of "link aggregation, given a scenario is important
I encourage viewers to study beyond the lessons in the series to increase their base knowledge.

For instance (EXAMPLE ONLY)

Your a technician for NetworkPlus Company. Your users are complaining that connections to an internal web server are very slow. Your switch supports grouping multiple Gigabit Ethernet ports together to improve performance.

Which of the following technologies will allow the technician to accomplish the goals of the organization. Choose two:

1 - 802.1x
2 - LACP
3 - 802.3ad
4 - 802.15

So in this question if you can "identify" and "explain" the concept back to me, you should be in a good position to answer the question.
