I feel like I am missing something. I am trying to find production dates for the courses but I don't see that information anywhere on the description details pages???
I do see dates for the "Live Broadcasts"
Looking at the GDPR at the moment but have no idea when it was produced except that it must be some time after 2016. What gives? Am I blind?

We generally don't display the production dates for ITProTV courses. When courses become out-of-date (eg, when the exam it prepares for is retired), they are moved to the Legacy section of the course library. Most courses that prepare you for an exam will have the exam code number or version number in the title, for example: CompTIA IT Fundamentals: FC0-U61.

Your explanation makes sense for courses that have a certification exam attached to them but I would argue for something like the GDPR course, which is not a certification, but deals with rapidly changing International Laws and Regulations, it is important to have an idea of the date published so we can gauge the "staleness" of the content/information. For example, as I understand it, there have been some substantive revisions to it since 2018 as cases have moved through the courts.
Anyway, at least now I know I wasn't just missing something when looking for the dates for the material.

Extract "techskills-gdpr.zip"
The files in that zip package were created in November 2017.
I downloaded a video file from the course and looked at the meta-data, but I get today's date and the time of download - 2021-08-17 19:44 - for creation and modification. So I'm doing something wrong, and/or there's something I don't understand about .mp4 file metadata.
