The Created and Modified Dates of a Newly Installed Operating System

When I power on a computer, load the operating system, and create my user account, all these for the first time, what "Date created" and "Date modified" timestamps can I expect in the files and folders?

Obviously the files were created and packed before I purchased the computer, but I want to know if the files' Date Created equal the time when the operating system is loaded for the first time.

In short, I want to understand how/if the timing of my unpacking a new computer with a fresh operating system impacts the timestamp of the files within.

So take a single file that you know files within don't change or shouldn't: C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts

You should see the date the file was created...mine matches the date I first installed.

In short, I want to understand how/if the timing of my unpacking a new computer with a fresh operating system impacts the timestamp of the files within.
