No content in Roku TV app

Twice now I've installed the ITPro TV app (version 4.3 from May 2021) on my TCL Roku TV. At first everything's fine, I can view course content videos with no problems, but after I leave the app and then open it again, I'm confronted with a totally blank screen except for the menu bar on the left. There are no videos to be seen.

In the "Courses" section I can see the various courses available (e.g. Network+, CCNA) but selecting a course leaves me once again with a blank screen.

I can view the content videos with no problems on my Android tablet and my Macbook, but I'd like the option to watch them on a 30" screen while I'm using my computer and tablet for other things.

I am experiencing the same thing, except I use a Roku Digital Streamer with a Vizio TV. Although I can see the device is linked and active through my account's settings, the screen shows no contents; just the icons on the left (i.e., Home, Paths, etc.).

To get content again, I sign out, then link the device again.

I've recently been experiencing the same thing on my Roku 4200X. After removing the ITProTV app, readding it, and relinking the Roku device to my account I can see the content again. This has happened a handful of times.

@Creede-Lambard @Daniel-Heinaman @Veronica-Cisneros We have a bug for the Roku dashboard, but you can still navigate to content from the Courses page. A fix is being pushed out at 1PM EST today.

This fix was deployed yesterday. Please make sure the ITProTV channel is updated and the dashboard should be fixed. If you notice any issues, please chat it to our member services team on the web application app.itpro.tv

Some users may still be experiencing issues with the dashboard. We are working on a fix to deploy early next week. In meantime, you can still access your content through the courses page.

A new fix was released today, please make sure your ITProTV channel is on version 4.5

I'm still experiencing this, despite the updates. I'll submit a ticket, but it's definitely an annoyance having to sign in every time to watch content. I've watched a lot less of ITProTV because the Roku app is the main vehicle to consume it. Hopefully, it gets resolved because I enjoy watching the product.

I just experienced this problem again five days after resubscribing to ITProTV. The dev team won't fix it because they say they can't reproduce it.

We have no other users who can replicate this once the Roku app is up to date, including the user whose post you replied to (it was fixed for him after confirming he was updated). I hope that you are well.

I saw this thread yesterday, and I am interested in it because I also have some oddities with the ITPro.tv app on my Roku Express streaming device, which is a 3900EU model.

I checked last night and it is on v4.5 of the app.

The oddities I experience is that if I try to play a Cisco CCNP ENCOR episode that I have already watched, then I am taken straight to the end screen dated 2020.

However, if I first start to watch the same episode in the ITPro.tv app on my Android mobile phone then I can, once I have logged in.

Once I have watched the first few minutes on my Android device (running Android 11 with app 2.8.18) then I can start watching the same episode on my Roku Express.
- I am not casting from my Android phone to do this.

Watching it on my Roku streaming device and HD TV makes it easier to see and absorb the episodes.

As I say, this is an oddity and I have a workaround.

We are expecting to be able to modify the Roku experience at the next update to go ahead and proactively move the player position (where it is starting from) from anywhere near the last 10-15 seconds and move it to the beginning automatically when that is detected. That is the experience on Android, iOS and the web app. In meantime, upon episode launch you can click the restart episode within 1st 8 seconds. There is no imminent release prepared before end of year, but it is likely this experience you described is fixed very early in 2022.
