Hi Guys,
Hoping to sit my first exam 220-1001 the week after next (just doing intense study at the moment) Have just this minute done an online test and I missed ONE answer with regards to the characteristic features of Cat 5 cabling. I put four answers (RJ-45, Twisted Pair, 100 Mbps Ethernet and 100 Metre cable length) The answer I missed was: 1 Gbps Ethernet.
Is that right, Cat 5 can do 1 Gbps? If so, what is the difference then between Cat 5 and Cat 5e? I thought it was just 5e that could do 1 Gbps.
Cheers, Andy
