Hello,
I have an hp laptop running windows, and i installed Ubuntu on it (dual boot).
My problem is, back then i was not really aware of what im doing, so i gave 'root' 30gb of space, and 200gb for '/home' ... now im enjoying my experience more on ubuntu, and i would like to adjust this diskspace issue and give my root directory more space so i can install additional stuff.
option 1: transfer some of the 200gb from '/home' to '/' ...
option 2: transfer some of the available space on windows to '/', (this option would be the ideal one i guess since im not using windows that much).
Is there any help you could provide on how to proceed with any of both options? which is easier ? Im afraid of damaging anything that's why i thought it would be best to ask first
N.B: I checked online and many are recommending to boot from live CD/USB, which i do not have anymore.
I don't possess the usb i used to install ubuntu few months ago.
Your help would be highly apprecaited.
Thank you
