Near the beginning of the laser printer segment of printers part 1, Don and Wes say CompTIA now calls out eight phases for laser printing. They also said it's important to memorize them and know their order. Upon finishing the episode, I had written seven phases in my notes:
- Processing
- Cleaning and charging
- Exposing
- Developing
- Loose transfer
- Fusing
- Cleaning
Why do I have only seven phases when there are supposed to be eight? Are cleaning and charging supposed to be two separate phases? You seemed to describe them as one phase and even numbered them that way in a recap at the end.
