I just watched the Video for Fiber Connections in Network+ N10-008. They said in the notes would be the Speeds and Distance (or anything needed to know on the Exam) for Each Media Transceiver. SFP, SFP+, QSFP, and QSFP+. I tried to doing a Search online and I see different answers to my question. The Notes do not have anything on the Speeds and Distances. Is this not required for the test? If so, can someone tell me what I need to know for the test when it comes to SFPs? Thanks

Hey @Steven-Conant great question, here is that information:
SFP modules have speeds up to 4.25 Gbps
SFP+ modules support up to 10 GbpsQSFP modules come in different types supporting four channels:
4x1 Gbps (QSFP)
4x10 Gbps (QSFP+)
4x28 Gbps (QSFP28)The distance depends on the fiber technology
Single-mode fiber can extend up to 80 km

Multimode fiber extends 100 - 550 meters or shorter distances
