Been working through the Network+ course and am learning a lot about the various technical components of networks.
I was wondering though if anyone had a link to any resources that has case studies of how all these things are applied in the workplace? e.g how are businesses deciding the structure of their networks and deciding what technologies are needed to serve their users?
Hope that makes sense, not sure if I've explained that too well!
Business are not looking at theory as much as pragmatics and costs. Though many business find that it would be "ideal" to have this or that. Many smaller business will really ask "what do we need?" and "what can we afford?"
If the business doesn't have the technical savvy to do so internally, they will reachout to an SP (Service Provider) who will have a "sales" engineer to talk about the things I mentioned above to help make recommendations.
