Hello, Microsoft rolled out a cert update today for MS-700. Will there be an update on ITProTV's Managing Microsoft Teams (MS-700) course to reflect this? Thanks.

MS Teams Admin (MS-700) Cert Update Feb 2023

So 2 things are happening with us right now:
-
We are moving to a quarterly review on all of Microsoft courses to the rapid changes that Microsoft is putting out there. Those changes that are reviewed and then it's decided on If's a minor change or a major change or just a simple change. This will tell us if we must add new content, or will there be a simple addition to the show notes. Or is this just a change in the title of a topic and requires no changes at all.
-
We are also updating our courses for a new format. We will be breaking down our courses to more skill driven shows. Which will allows for easier updating to our shows and for certifications.
So, there are significant changes, keep a monitor on our site with what is in production. You will see it there first. But, if I find out something in the very near future, I will also post it here.
ADDENDUM:
I've just compared to the previous to Feb1, 2023 iteration of the skills measured to the the after the Feb1, 2023 iteration, there was one topic change:
- Assign an emergency address to a user
So I'm going to say that this is just very minor change that I'm sure is already covered, even without it being pointed out on the skills measured. So, at this point before any review, we will probably not be adding any content to address this change.
Having said that, it doesn't mean you do not have to know the Teams product and where things are located but that is the change that has been presented.
Cordially,

@Mahogany-Fragata & @Ronnie-Wong , I hope all is well. I do cover what emergency addresses are & how to create them in 2 different places in the MS-700 course, but not the specifics of how to assign to a user.
It is actually a very simple process once you have the address(es) in the system, and the instructions on how to do so are here if you want to take a look:

If you have any other questions as you continue your Teams journey, please be in touch as needed.
Good Luck !!
Cheers,
Adam
