How do you document your project management experience for the pre-exam qualifications? Do you provide your history in an affidavit format supported by your resume/CV or do they want other documentation? Also, do you have an update regarding the PMP course counting toward the required education hours?

PMP Pre-Exam Qualifications

Daryl,
The link you need is here: http://www.pmi.org/certification/~/media/PDF/Certifications/PMP Application Form.ashx
It is really an application, they will (may or can) verify your PM experience as well as educational background through what you put on your application. This is the only official method that I know about, no affidavit is required or even CV.
I will try to ask today about an update regarding the PMP course as part of the PMU's for continuing education and post here if anything has changed!
Cordially,

I just spoke with Don about this. We're still pursuing this but we need to do a little more content to add with our current content. We may add some Microsoft Project tech skills or some more formula working shows. We're just not sure yet. But we don't have a timeline on when this will be done. ~Ronnie

Is there an update on accreditation with PMI for contact hours gained through the course?
Would be awesome to have while knocking out the course!

I will check on it today and let you know here

Any update?

This is my fault and it's slipped through the cracks....my apologies. I just asked our relationship strategist--the one who connects with other orgs to follow up. She will get an answer for me and I will get one for you or she will..
and she did ...below!

@Colby-Farley
35 hours of content is needed to qualify for approved training for PMI. We need 5 more hours and will be adding that content most likely in February 2016. Once we finalize our application we will give another update. Thanks very much for your interest in this!Angie

@Angie Do you know when in February the content will be added? I was planing on starting the course this month.
-
@Nicholas-Lozano
We completed some additional content last week that has been added to the site. We plan to shoot 3-4 more episodes to reach 35 hours. We are also starting Project+ the week of Feb 22. Let me know if you have any more questions. Thanks!Angie

@Angie WIll the Project+ recordings be posed shortly after they are recorded?

Yes! We always aim to have them up within 48 hours if all of our production workflow
goes as planned.Angie
