My name is Mike and I'm regularly on the live chat as Mike P.
The last few months I've not been on much as I have been using any free time to study for the CISSP. On Friday I successfully passed first time. I am hoping this post will act as encouragement to anyone who is thinking of sitting this exam.
What did I use to revise?
ITProTV CISSP videos (obviously ). The videos presented by Don, Mike and Adam Gordon (The author of the 4th Official CBK book) are spot on! I can not recommend these highly enough. Don't waste your time watching anything else.
Book - Official (ISC)2 Guide to the CISSP CBK, Fourth Edition (ISC2 Press) (Adam Gordon)
Book - CISSP All-in-One Exam Guide, 6th Edition (Shon Harris)
Book - CISSP Practice Exams, Third Edition (All-In-One Series)
Book - Eleventh Hour Cissp: Study Guide (Eric Conrad)
Book - CISSP Study Guide (Eric Conrad)
Book - CISSP Practice Questions Exam Cram (Exam Cram (Pearson))
Although the ITProTV CISSP videos were excellent, I found that watching the CEH, and some of the "Technical" short videos such as cloud and pfsense really helped. The CEH videos are superb!
Well ITProTV has successfully helped me achieve my MCSA:Server2012 and CISSP in 12 months. Over the next 12 months I hope to continue working through their videos and completing even more certifications.
Great service and highly recommend anyone whose considering buying ITProTV to punt the small fee and come aboard!
Right time to put my feet up and watch todays live show with a coffee!
