Is LX0-103 / LX0-104 replace the LX0-101 / LX0-102 courses or it adds more content ? Can i rely just on 103-104 to pass the exam ?

Solved Linux + LX0-103 / LX0-104

The current shows being produced are because CompTIA Linux+ has been updated with the latest exam objectives. These shows will cover some of the same objectives as the previous 101 and 102 but they will also cover any new content updated by new exam objectives.
The new shows will cover every exam objective. Though we cannot guarantee that by simply watching the shows that you pass the exam. We can say other members have used our shows along with their study materials and methods to be successful on their certification exams.

@patrick-lefebvre-2136 I did notice that the lxo-103/4 series is missing the "intro to Linux" and "installing Linux" sessions. Those were really interesting to me, so I recommend watching them first in the old Linux+ series, then move on to the new one.

@Ronnie-Wong Is there an expected time frame for this course to be finished?

With scheduling and everything else going on. I know that the Linux show will resume recording next week. The LX0-103 has finished. Don and Daniel have begun the LX0-104 but do to scheduling in the studio, it's not on this week but is scheduled for next week. I'm not sure how far along they are but normally the shows take about 10 days to shoot and shows are normally up on the website between 24 - 48 hrs after recording...a little later for the Roku.

Am I right to be under the assumption that LX0-101 /LX0-102 are mainly to prepare you for the 1st 2 tests for the CompTIA Linux+ cert that also gets you the 1st part of the LPI cert, whereas LX0-103 and Lx0-104 are for the more advanced second and third part of the LPI cert? Or will LX0-103/104 prepare you for the 2 CompTIA Linux+ tests as well as beyond?
Basically if I haven't got any Linux cert, Should I watch the entire 101/102 and 103/104 course to study to get certification in Linux?
I do have a understanding of Linux as I do run it on my home pcs, but I would like to get certifications in order to find a career in Linux. However, I'd like to review as I've got lazy and have used more GUI and need to brush up and relearn the CLI somewhat.

CompTIA has just released the new exam objectives for the updated CompTIA Linux+ certification. The Lx0-101/ 102 are for the previous iteration of the exam. The Lx0-103/104 are exams that will be replacing the 101/102. LPI has partnered with CompTIA to say that if you take the Linux+ examS and pass you will also pass their exams as well. Put differently, you will earn their certification too.
You should need to do either/or and not necessarily both/and. I would recommend the newer series myself since it is our second go around on this one and we've only gotten better at what we do!

Thanks. I did start the old series but looks like I will move to the newer series or maybe take a hybrid approach. So far I have been enjoying this site. Keep up the good work.
