I Just wanted to say thank you! At the beginning of the summer I didn't have any certifications. After hearing the ads for ITPro TV on the TWiT network I decided to check it out and I'm glad I did. My ITPro TV subscription was my only study material and passed all three tests on my first try. I'm now studying for my CCENT and looking for a technology based job. Keep up the great work!

Congratulations! The ITProTV team celebrates with you on your success and we're glad that we've been a part of that successful formula.
Daniel, if you don't mind, please share a little of your study habits and preparation you used leading up to your exam day. I believe that successful people sharing their habits and methods will encourage and help others t mimic the patterns and also find success as well. Also please include what you might have done differently if you were to do it again. By posting here, you'll be helping out others just like yourself to succeed too.
We never want anyone to believe we guarantee that just by watching the content is enough for success. We do believe it's part of the mix, along with study and even some additional certification guides, that anyone willing to dedicate themselves to the pursuit of success can do so. You're a standout in that you solely used our ITProTV content and that just makes you awesome!

I blocked out time whenever I could to study. I have a yearly membership to ITProTV, so I would download the audio and video for each course. I usually start by listening to the audio whenever I had time, in the shower, while driving etc. When I watched the videos for each course I would also download the notes for each video. While I watched the video I would handwrite notes while also reading the notes I had downloaded.
Before my exam I would take a mesureup practice exam so I would know what I need to review. Most of the time my practice exam scores were MUCH lower than my actual test score was.Tech has always been a passion of mine so that makes it a little easier.
You guys do a fantastic job and make learning enjoyable.
If I were to do it over again, I would not pay as much attention to my practice test score. On my Network+ practice test I scored 66 out of 100. On the actual exam I passed with a score of 744 out of 900. Not great, but I passed. On my Security+ I got a 56 out of 100 on my practice exam and 798 out of 900 on my actual exam.
P.S.
Ronnie, I always like it when you are the instructor. You have the best notes and I love your simple diagrams. -
Thank you Daniel. What you'll find out as you do more and more with us is that I work with the best team ever and I do not mean this in a mock humility but everyone else I work with is better at than I am.
Thank you also for your helpful coaching above. It's very constructive and informative. I hope that all who read it will benefit from your experience and success!
