Study Groups?

Greetings ITPro.TV family!

I am wondering if any members have (online) study groups or would like to create some? I don't know if ITPro.TV would like to integrate something like this into courses, or even moderate it, but I feel this would be a good option for some members. Self-paced learning is good in a lot of senses, but if are you not disciplined procrastination can bite. If you at least agree to a commitment like this MAYBE, you'll stay on track or possibly learn more.

Well, if any subscribers want to start an online study group via Skype, Google Hangouts, etc I would be interested. I am open for almost anything in the course library.

I've always been study group curious. How does a study group normally work? is it like a book club where you have a few chapters read by date X then you hop online and discuss?

Yes it could be like that. Watch a few episodes/sections, then discuss ideas or misunderstandings. We could also take practice test together, do activities, etc.

Well If anyone is doing their CCENT or CCNA I'll join in on the fun. I already have a CCNA but I am super out of practice and could use a review.

Right now I am working on my CCNA security. I am on the final episode. My next step is to run through the official cisco workbook so I can get the hands on part solidified. I finally got my virtual lab up and running with virtual windows host so I can use the various cisco GUIs without having to tunnel in an external windows host into my virtual lab.....did I mention it was virtual?

I think something like a study group is a great idea! Although, many of us are on different levels so I'm not sure how that would work.. but it could. I am definitely interested in Network + or similar.

@Jae Right now I'm pretty swamped for time. I attempted my CCNP SWITCH and failed. If you're studying for that then let's do it but I don't have time to focus on CCNA right now.

although my CCNA is now expired so I do have to start certifying from square one now. I am planning on skipping CCNA R+S. I want to go CCENT> CCNA Security > CCNP R+S . I see no value in a CCNA R+S for me at this point.
