Where can we find practice exams for Apple Certification tests?
Apple Certification Test Exams
Apple doesn't seem to provide a practice test through transcender. To tell you the truth, I'm not sure of a practice test vendor that has apple practice exams.
Maybe, some of our members may know of another provider that has this.
Amsys has an app called Revise IT that has spome practice questions. I haven't taken the Apple exams so don't know how they compare, but when I do I'll post a review.
The short answer is no, there are no practice tests for ACSP 10.11, but I will share my experience with ACSP 10.11: 9L0-425 as I just passed the test.
The Amsys Revise IT app did a pretty great job at helping you learn answers to certain questions, but the questions were either worded differently or you had to apply the answers in a different way. There were also some questions that were not in the app at all. Overall, it helped me learn answers to the questions, but I had to do the additional research within the Peach Pit OS X 10.11 Support Essentials book to understand the answers.
While Don did a good job and the show notes that were provided were a good study guide. It might be beneficial for a member of the ITProTV staff to actually take the test before creating the training series. The training videos here on the site were good, but I feel they dove too deep into terminal. The exam had no questions regarding the terminal beyond running the resetpassword utility in OS X Recovery. I believe it was the same with ACSP 10.8 as well. I don't believe anyone here wants the answers to the test outright, but the emphasized focus on the terminal made me believe that there would be a ton of questions regarding terminal commands.
All in all, the combination of the videos, the app, and the book helped me pass the test. They give you two hours to take the test, I was in and out in 25-30 mins.
I hope this helps anyone who is studying!
Thanks for letting us know that you found the shows to be comprehensive and beyond! All of our shows are based on the exam objectives as they were available when the show was recorded. Accordingly, we try to cover the exam objectives as completely as we can. We do not want to ever have an member to ever think that the certification shows are only good for the exam. The goal for each show is to make it "the best possible show that we can and cover more rather than less if it's relevant."
