Can we configure Layer 2 switch as a DHCP server ?

@Steve-Van according to this guy on the cisco forums you can. But I wouldn't because a Layer 2 switch would have to use CPU cycles to process Layer 3 data instead of doing the processing of packets at the hardware level.
The answer is "It depends on the IOS version and Hardware model".

Here Daniel is correct in his answer. If your Switch IOS supports it; it can do it. If it will not allow you to configure the DHCP commands then it will not.
