Hey Guys,
Quick question. DHCP is setup on a switch. What happens if I want to setup a DHCP for every VLAN on the switch?
Can it be done? If so how?
Thanks

Yes.

You setup the following on the router or layer3 switch (if possible):
Key It doesn't matter in what order you create them and you do not have to attach them to the interface or VLAN. The cisco device will work it out without any complications.
Let me know, if you need additional help!

Thank you. It's basically a work-around from what I understand, meaning that it's setup trough exclusions rather then direct assignment to a VLAN.
I guess it works on a L2 Switch also since you said that (L3 Switch is proffered).

If the Layer 2 switch has the DHCP feature in, I believe they all do but I'm not 100% sure that it is in every every layer 2 switch!
